Refund & Return Policy

Whether you're shopping online at www.cosmoshouse.in or at one of our physical stores in Kashmir, we strive to ensure that every product you purchase meets your expectations. This policy outlines our rules regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may request a return or exchange under the following conditions:

  • The product is damaged, defective, or not as described

  • The request is made within 7 days of delivery or purchase

  • The product is unused, in its original packaging, with all accessories, tags, and invoice


2. Non-Returnable Items

The following products are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Modular kitchen items once installed

  • Custom-built or made-to-order products

  • Perishable or hygiene-sensitive items (e.g. opened food containers, personal use items)

  • Products with tampered packaging or missing accessories/manuals

  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” at the time of purchase


3. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Online Purchase:

    • Email us at returns@cosmoshouse.in or call +91-XXXXXXXXXX

    • Include your order ID, reason for return, and photos (if applicable)

    • Our support team will guide you through the pickup or drop-off process

  2. In-Store Purchase:

    • Visit the store where the item was purchased

    • Bring the original invoice and the product in original condition


4. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, your refund will be processed:

  • Online Payments: Refunded to the original payment method within 7–10 business days

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunded via bank transfer or store credit

  • In-store Refunds: Processed at the store or credited to your account

Note: Shipping or installation charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defective product.


5. Exchange Policy

If you wish to exchange a product (e.g., different color or model), you may do so under the same eligibility criteria. Exchanges are subject to product availability.


6. Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched.

  • Once shipped, the order can only be returned or exchanged as per the above return policy.


7. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If your product arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Share clear photos/videos with your order ID

  • We will arrange for a free replacement, return, or refund
